Mysuru: The clash between MLAs Anand Singh and J N Ganesh, has not only hurt the party but also embarrassed it, said Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Krishna Byre Gowda.

“The issue has been taken up very seriously. A high level committee under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara has been formed. Apart from this, though we can’t leave any MLA we have taken a risk and suspended J N Ganesh. The elected representatives should be role models to others. The committee will take a call on this and the police also has taken up the investigation”, added Krishna Byre Gowda.

‘Incident has nothing to do with party’
The incident has nothing to do with party. After inquiry only, we can come to know of the facts. However, it appears to be a personal issue not related to discontentment within the party.

‘Operation Kamala will continue in days to come as well’
“Since BJP came to power in state, the ‘Operation Kamala’ has become common. They want to somehow capture power and for that, they are ready to do anything. Though they have done Operation Kamala many times, they weren’t successful. After the coalition government came to power, four to five times they tried but failed but they will not stop in days to come. They will continue. Operation Kamala was not only restricted to Karnataka but also other states including Goa, Uttarakhand and North Eastern states. To protect the government we do what we have to do”, added Krishna Byre Gowda.
