Mysuru: Anganawadi helper suspiciously found dead

Mysuru: The body of an Anganwadi helper was found near Bannikuppe Gate in the Taluk.

The deceased has been identified as Mallige Manjunath (36), an Anganwadi helper from Kattamalavadi in Hunsur Taluk. She is survived by her husband and two daughters.

Mallige of Periyapatna Taluk was married off to Manjunath, a construction worker from Kattamalawadi, and the couple had two daughters and her husband was earning a living as a labourer and an Anganawadi helper.

It is reported that the body was found on the roadside near Bannikuppe Gate on the Mysuru – Bantwala National Highway on the morning of Wednesday and it seemed like the woman has consumed pesticides. The villagers informed the police about the discovery of the woman’s body and the truth is yet to be ascertained from the investigation.
