Mysuru: Cyclists from Mysuru district delivered an impressive performance at the Karnataka State Cycling Championship in Gadag, winning seven medals, including three gold.
Mysuru riders excel across events
According to the Mysuru District Cycling Association, cyclists from the district secured three gold, three silver and one bronze medal at the championship.
The competition was held on August 8 and 9, with Mysuru riders competing in both the Individual Time Trial (ITT) and Mass Start events.
Their strong showing across the two formats highlighted the depth of cycling talent emerging from the district and added another notable achievement to Mysuru’s sporting record.
Seven medals boost district cycling
The three gold medals formed the highlight of Mysuru’s campaign, while the three silver and one bronze medals further strengthened the district’s overall tally.
The performance at the State-level championship is expected to encourage more cyclists from Mysuru to pursue competitive cycling and represent the district at higher levels.
