Mysuru: The Mysuru District Administration has launched the updated official website for Mysuru Dasara 2026, offering visitors a single digital platform for information on the 11-day Nada Habba, including event schedules, ticket bookings, venue details, accommodation, traffic advisories and live streaming.
The website, mysoredasara.gov.in, was launched on September 16 by Mysuru District Minister Dr Yathindra Siddaramaiah in the presence of other ministers, elected representatives and officials. The platform has been developed in coordination with the Departments of Tourism, Kannada and Culture, and the Mysuru City Police.
The 2026 Mysuru Dasara festival is scheduled to be held from October 11 to 21, with a range of cultural, sporting, food and entertainment programmes planned across the city.
Website offers Dasara information in Kannada and English
The official Dasara website has been designed as a bilingual platform in Kannada and English. According to the district administration, the objective is to provide citizens, domestic tourists and international visitors with easy access to information about the festival.
The platform has been designed with a mobile-first approach, allowing visitors to access the information through smartphones, tablets and desktop computers.
Visitors can find details about the history of Mysuru Dasara, event schedules, accommodation options, important venues and information required for planning their visit.
The website also includes a photo gallery and official updates relating to the festival.
Online booking for Dasara events
One of the important features of the website is its online ticketing and pass-management facility.
Visitors can use the platform to access booking facilities for Dasara Gold Cards, reserved seating for the Jumboo Savari and passes for the Torchlight Parade.
The website also provides interactive schedules and venue maps, allowing visitors to check events according to the day and location.
Major programmes listed on the platform include Yuva Dasara, Aahara Mela, Dasara Flower Show, Raitha Dasara and the Dasara Exhibition.

According to the district administration, users will be able to download procession route and parking maps through the website. Real-time traffic diversion advisories issued by the Mysuru City Traffic Police will also be made available.
Traffic management becomes particularly important during Dasara because large numbers of visitors gather in the city for the procession, palace illumination, cultural programmes and other attractions.
The availability of updated traffic information online is intended to help visitors plan their movement and identify designated routes and parking areas.
Live streaming of major Dasara events
The website will also carry high-definition live feeds once the festival begins.
The live streaming facility is expected to cover the daily illumination of the Mysuru Palace, cultural programmes and the Jumboo Savari, allowing people who cannot travel to Mysuru to watch major Dasara events online.
The facility is also aimed at extending the reach of the festival to viewers outside India.
With Mysuru Dasara attracting tourists from different parts of the country and abroad, the administration has sought to use the digital platform to provide information before and during the festival.
AI chatbots Gajju and Ammu added
Another feature of the new website is the introduction of real-time AI chatbot assistance.
The platform has ‘Ask Gajju and Ammu’, which provides round-the-clock information related to Dasara schedules, venues and ticketing.
Gajju and Ammu have been presented as digital local guides that can interact with visitors conversationally and help them find information about the festival.
The AI-based facility is intended to make it easier for visitors to obtain basic information without having to search through multiple sections of the website.
Dasara website includes media and official information
The website also provides facilities for media professionals covering Mysuru Dasara.
According to the district administration, the platform will carry official press releases, media accreditation forms and high-resolution photographs.
This will provide journalists and media organisations with access to official information and photographs related to the festival.
The administration has also sought to make the platform a central source for updates rather than requiring visitors to rely on multiple unofficial sources for schedules and event-related information.
Kambala and drone show among Dasara attractions
The launch of the website comes as preparations for Mysuru Dasara 2026 gather pace.
District Minister Yathindra Siddaramaiah said Kambala, a theme-based drone show and a documentary by National Geographic would be among the attractions planned for this year’s festival.
The Dasara Kambala is scheduled to be held at Sathagalli on October 18 and 19, with around 150 buffalo teams expected to participate in junior and senior categories. Seating for about 8,000 spectators is planned at the venue.
Yuva Dasara is scheduled from October 13 to 17, with film choreographer Prabhu Deva announced to inaugurate the event, according to officials.
Food Mela to continue at Maharaja’s College Grounds
The administration has also decided to retain the Maharaja’s College Grounds as the venue for the Dasara food mela.
According to reports, around 120 stalls covering 16 varieties of food have been registered, with vendors to be selected through a lottery process.
The administration has also planned measures to make seating and access to major Dasara events more systematic. Gold Card holders will reportedly be allotted numbered seats.
With the official website now operational, visitors can begin using the platform to access information about the festival, while further updates are expected as individual programmes and arrangements are finalised.
