Mysuru: The highlight of Mysuru Dasara, the Jumboo Savari, is scheduled for Vijayadashami on October 24. A ceremonial worship of Nandi Dhwaja will take place from 1.46 pm to 2.08 pm at the Balarama Dwara of the palace. The commencement of the Jumboo Savari is set for 4.40 pm to 5 pm, with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah as the guest of honor.
They are offering floral tributes to the statue of Chamundeshwari Mahishasura Mardhini, which is enshrined in the golden howdah. In the globally renowned Dasara Jumboo Savari, the 750 kg howdah, which has been lifted three times consecutively, is now ready to be carried outside by Abhimanyu for the fourth time. Millions of people are eagerly waiting to witness these magnificent moments.
For Vijayadashami, the palace will commence its rituals in the morning. The procession will feature 14 elephants, 47 floats, and numerous art troupes this year.
