Mysuru: District-in-Charge Minister H.C. Mahadevappa announced on Saturday that the ‘Sadhana Samavesha’, a district-level gathering to mark the launch and inauguration of multiple development initiatives in Mysuru and Chamarajanagar districts, will be held on July 19 at Maharaja’s College Grounds.

Addressing the media, the minister shared that the date and venue were finalized after an initial coordination meeting with local MLAs from both districts. He urged the district administration to ensure all essential arrangements are in place, including drinking water supply, adequate sanitation, separate entry/exit points, and efficient crowd and traffic management to ensure a smooth event.

Minister Mahadevappa highlighted that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has sanctioned over ₹2,600 crore for infrastructure and development in both districts. While some of these projects are already underway, many are ready for formal inauguration during the upcoming event.

Additionally, the Chief Minister will be felicitated on the same day in recognition of his major contributions to the district’s growth and development.

The event is expected to attract a large gathering, and authorities are working to ensure public convenience and safety throughout the program.
