Mysuru: JD(S) MLA D. C. Thammanna has described JD (S) Leader H. D. Revanna as India’s second Kurian in developing Animal Husbandry.
He was speaking after inaugurating a Veterinary Clinic constructed at a cost of Rs. 35 Lakh under the National Infrastructure Development Fund at Gurudevarahalli Village near here.
MLC Madhu G. Madegowda said that the Veterinary Hospital has been constructed to supplement the Animal Husbandry profession on which the people of the countryside depend. He said that there is a large number of Animal Husbandry activity in rural areas and the hospital has been constructed with a view to protect their health. Gurudevarahalli, his native village, has all the departmental buildings and basic amenities like roads and drains have been lying dormant for many years, he noted.
MLA Thammanna said that road development work will be carried out in the coming days with the cooperation of his brother, he said.
