
Mysuru Industrialist Dies by Suicide Amid Health Struggles; Investigation Underway
A 40-year-old businessman, Arjun, died by suicide near his factory in the Hebbal industrial area on Thursday morning. The incident occurred within the Hebbal police station limits, and initial reports suggest that ongoing health issues may have driven him to take this extreme step.
Arjun was the proprietor of S.S. Industries, located in the Hebbal industrial zone. Family members said he had been suffering from a prolonged illness, which had significantly impacted his well-being in recent days.
According to police, Arjun left his home early in the morning. When his absence was noticed, his family checked the CCTV footage, which showed him leaving the house. Tragically, he was later found hanging near his factory premises.
Arjun belonged to a prominent local family and was the grandson of D. Vasudeva Murthy, the founder of Mahajana College, a well-known educational institution in Mysuru.
A case has been registered at the Hebbal Police Station, and investigations are ongoing. Authorities are also expected to provide support to the grieving family.
The incident has reignited conversations around the importance of mental health support for entrepreneurs and professionals, especially those battling physical illness and emotional distress.
