Mysuru: KSRTC bus and Eicher collision, Three seriously injured

Mysuru: Three persons sustained serious injuries in a head-on collision between a KSRTC vehicle and an Eicher vehicle near a bridge at Basavanapura village in Varuna Assembly constituency in Nanjangud taluk.

The KSRTC bus, which was on its way from Nanjangud city towards T. Narasipur, was hit by an Eicher driver coming from the opposite direction.

Three persons sitting in front of the bus sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision. Rajamma, 60, of Tondavadi village in Gundlupet taluk, was on her way to Mahadeshwara Hills on the occasion of Amavasya Pooja 52-year-old Shantakumari. Two women have their hands hurted.

50-year-old Minnanayaka of Saragur village sustained serious injuries. Nanjangud DYSP Govindaraju Circle Inspector Chandrashekar visited the spot and inspected the spot.
The three injured were rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. The police have taken into custody the transport bus and the Eicher vehicle and are investigating. A case has been registered at Biligere police station in this regard.
