Mysuru: With the SSLC examination commencing from Friday March 31 in the State, the Government has issued an order for students arriving at the examination centres to write the exam and to travel free of cost on the KSRTC transport bus.

The incident took place at Gattawadi Village in Nanjanagudu Taluk
However, a transport bus conductor flouted the Government’s order and gave tickets to two students at Gattawadi Village in Nanjanagudu Taluk.

The SSLC examination centre has been opened at the Government Pre-University College in Dodda Kavalande Village and two SSLC students Manoj and Hemanth, who were on their way to the examination centre from Gattawadi Village, showed the SSLC exam admit card (hall ticket) to the conductor at 9.00 am when they were travelling in a KSRTC transport bus going to Nanjanagudu via Gattawadi, Kavalande from Gattawadipura Village. Though students said they don’t have money, the conductor insisted them to buy tickets. Finally they took tickets and proceeded to write exams. Locals and students demanded action against the conductor.
