Mysuru: Actor Shivraj Kumar is campaigning for Siddaramaiah in Varuna constituency. In this regard, MP Pratap Sinha has given Shivanna a taunt on Twitter and Facebook. saying Minister V. Somanna has built a hospital in the name of late actor Puneeth Rajkumar. Raghavendra Rajkumar, who was present at the inauguration of this hospital, appreciated Somanna’s work but Puneeth’s brother Shiva Rajkumar is campaigning in favour of Siddaramaiah.
Pratap Simha in a Tweet said that “Somanna, built a hospital in the name of Puneeth Rajkumar sir to facilitate thousands of people. Raghanna, who admired and praised him but Shivanna campaigned on behalf of Sidramanna!, he said.
Pratap Simha also shared a video of Raghanna praising Somanna and a photo of Shivanna campaigning for Siddaramaiah. A free hospital was built by Somanna in the name of Puneeth, in the background of the economic collapse due to Corona. Raghavendra Rajkumar, who was present at the inauguration, praised Somanna’s work. “Who will build such a free hospital for the poor in this time of 2023?, he said and added, “We have been fortunate to have such good persons in society and we can’t say anything other than salute them. Also, don’t think of this hospital as a hospital, think of it as a temple.”
Speaking to mediapersons Pratap Simha said that he sees Dr. Raj’s family apart from politics. “Geetha Shivaraj Kumar contested against Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa in Shivamogga. Even then, Actor Shivrajkumar did not go to the campaign. As a BJP MP, I am not talking about this issue. Geeta Shiva Rajkumar comes from a political family. Her father S. Bangarappa was the CM of Karnataka. He said there is no problem if Geetha Shivrajkumar comes to campaign.”
