Mysuru Railway Police discovered the body of an unidentified woman, aged between 40 and 50, who was run over by a train between Hanakere and Mandya Railway Stations on July 28. The body has been moved to the MIMS Hospital mortuary in Mandya, and a case has been registered.

The deceased woman is approximately 5 ft. tall, wheatish complexioned, with a normal build and oval face. She has distinctive tattoos on both her hands and was wearing traditional jewelry, including a nose stud, earrings, toe rings, and a finger ring. She was dressed in a brown saree adorned with red and pink flowers and a red blouse with a white flower design.
