Mysuru witnessed a spirited show of patriotism as Team Mysuru, in collaboration with the All Karnataka Ex-Servicemen’s Association, organized a high-energy bike rally titled ‘Rally for the Country’, in solidarity with Operation Sindoor.
The rally began on a solemn note, with participants observing a one-minute silence to honour the late Padma Shri awardee Subanna Ayyappan, paying tribute to his contributions to society.
The journey kicked off from the Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple, situated near the North Gate of the iconic Mysuru Palace. From there, the convoy of bikers made its way through key city landmarks — Gandhi Circle, Sayajirao Road, Chikka Gadiyara, Devaraj Urs Road, and Narayana Shastri Road.
The rally concluded at the Freedom Fighters’ memorial at Subbarayanakere, a fitting end point symbolising the spirit of service and sacrifice.
The event blended patriotism with public participation, creating awareness about the significance of Operation Sindoor and honouring those who serve the nation in uniform — past and present.
