In a shocking revelation, Mysuru has become the center of an international prostitution racket, sending waves of disbelief across Karnataka. The police recently unearthed this high-tech operation, which revolved around a Thai woman. This discovery has shed light on the disturbing underbelly of the employment sector, where even individuals with legitimate jobs have been found engaging in illegal activities.
Among those involved was a KSRTC employee, alongside a collaborator named Revanna, who had abandoned his official responsibilities to partake in the illicit trade. The police successfully raided a hotel near Bogadi, rescuing the Thai woman and another young woman. This raid was part of a broader operation aimed at dismantling the prostitution network that had ensnared the women.
Authorities discovered that the criminals had exploited the Thai woman’s appearance to attract clients, charging between 8,000 to 10,000 rupees per engagement. This case not only highlights the presence of high-tech prostitution rings in the region but also reveals the involvement of individuals who have strayed far from their professional careers to partake in such unlawful activities.
This incident serves as a stark reminder of the dark realities lurking within the employment sector and the lengths some will go to in pursuit of illicit gains.
