Mysuru: In a shocking incident, a wild boar was chased and hunted by a Tiger in Nagarahole National Park, where a tourist captured it on his mobile phone.

A rare sight of a tiger hunting a wild boar in front of tourists near Kakanakote in the Dammanakkatte Forest Range, which has the largest number of tigers to be seen during the safari, has been captured.

The tiger chased the wild boar in front of a tourist vehicle in Dammanakatte Forest Range. No matter how far the wild boar ran, the tiger relentlessly hunted and the sight was captured by the tourists.

Tourists from Veerana Hosahalli, Nanachi Gate and Dammanakatte in Nagarahole are allowed to go for safaris. More than Veerana Hosahalli and Nanachi Gate Safari areas, tourists see tigers on a daily basis at Dammanakatte. So there is a huge demand for safaris here.

The wild boar, which was roaming in the forest in search of food, saw the tiger in front of him and ran to save his life, but to no avail. Though the wild boar fought for about two minutes, the tiger hunted the wild boar and satiated its hunger.
