Mysuru: Due to continued inclement weather and persistent wet outfield in Hubballi, Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has taken a decision to move few matches from Hubballi to Mysuru.

The KPL matches will start in Mysuru from August 25 instead of August 28. The finals will be held on September 6.

Speaking to Newskarnataka.com, Balachandar, Convenor, Mysuru zone, KSCA said “Now, as per schedule, instead of ten matches we will be hosting 16 matches which include both the semi-finals and finals. All the facility at Srikanta Datta Narasimharaja Wadiyar ground will be ready by Friday evening. The tickets are also available on the ground and online. For smooth conduct of the matches, we have come out with four pitches. The tickets are sold in four different denominations; Rs 50, Rs 70, Rs 100 and Rs 300”.

The matches on August 23 and 24, which were to be held at Hubballi will be re-scheduled and will be played at Mysuru as a double-header on August 31.

However, August 27 and 30 will continue to be rest days.
