Mysuru: Ugadi, devotees perform various rituals at Nanjanagudu

Mysuru: A sea of devotees flocked to Nanjanagudu Sri Nanjundeshwara Swamy Temple on the occasion of Ugadi festival.

Devotees from different parts of the State had come to have darshan of Nanjundeshwara on the occasion of Chandramana Ugadi festival on Wednesday March 22. The dieties performed pooja at Sri Nanjundeshwara Swamy Temple in Nanjanagudu Town and performed rituals including Ksheerabhiksheka, Panchamrutha Abhisheka, Phalapushpa Abhisheka and other rituals.

After taking a holy dip in Kapila River, and performing dhoopa, deepa, ‘Urulu Seve’, the devotees stood in a queue to have darshan of the God.
