Mysuru: The number of voters in Mysuru district has declined by 5,57,241 following the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), according to the draft electoral roll published on Monday.

Draft roll records sharp decline

The draft electoral roll contains 22,42,452 electors, compared with 27,99,693 voters recorded in the district on June 16, 2026.

The latest figure represents a decline of nearly 20% in the district’s electorate following the revision exercise.

SIR changes voter numbers

The significant reduction in the number of electors comes after the Special Intensive Revision of the electoral rolls.

The draft roll provides the latest count of registered electors in Mysuru district following the revision. The figures may be examined during the subsequent stages of the electoral roll process.

The decline of more than 5.57 lakh voters marks a substantial change from the electorate recorded in June and is expected to draw attention as the draft roll is scrutinised.
