Mysuru: A fatal mishap unfolded near Akkur Gate, close to Talakadu in T. Narasipura taluk, where a 27-year-old youth lost his life after being crushed beneath a tractor.

The deceased has been identified as Lokesh, a resident of Mahadevapura in Srirangapatna taluk. The tragic event occurred while he was returning to Talakadu after loading electric poles onto the tractor. During the journey, the tractor lost stability, overturned, and the heavy poles toppled onto him, leading to instantaneous death due to the weight and impact.

Local authorities from the Talakadu police station quickly responded to the scene after receiving information. They conducted a thorough spot inspection, arranged for the transport of the body to a local hospital for autopsy, and have since filed a formal complaint to initiate further legal procedures.
