Mysuru: Krishna Nayak, a 28-year-old Yoga teacher from Udubur Village of the Taluk covered 2,020 kilometres by foot between Mysuru and Kashi in Uttar Pradesh to create awareness about yoga. He has now reached Kashi.
Nayak took two months to cover the distance. The highlight of the padayatra was that he conducted yoga camps, and created awareness about yoga among the people and students.
Nayak started his yoga yatra from Mysuru on November 15. He started his padayatra from the Kote Anjaneya Swamy Temple premises in the City. A yoga teacher by profession, he took up this yatra to spread the message of the importance of yoga among the public
Nayak informed that he was surprised by the warm reception he received across the country while doing padayatra. He said that he will continue his service towards making yoga popular among one and all.
