Hoax Bomb Threat At Commercial Tax Office In Mysuru

Mysuru: Following a letter threatening to explode Commercial Tax Office (CTO) building on Krishna Vilas Road in the City, Police have rushed to the spot and vacated the staff as a precautionary measure.

On Wednesday September 22, City Police received an anonymous letter about planting a bomb at new CTO building that will explode between 12 noon and 1.00 pm. Not to ignore, Police swung into search operation under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law & Order) Pradeep Gunti.

Dog squad and bomb detection squad rushed to the spot. Around 70 staff work at the Commercial Tax office and they were vacated from the building. However, it was found to be a hoax after a thorough search.
