Mysuru: Over 1.2 lakh students have urged the Government for hostel facilities, and hence Government will work on it. These hostels will accommodate over 1000 students, said Minister for Social Welfare and Backward Classes Kota Srinivas Poojary.
He was speaking after inaugurating five hostels of Backward Classes Welfare Department and the programme was organised by Zilla Panchayat , the District Administration and Backward Classes Welfare Department. Minister said, “Many students hailed from rural areas and thus they need proper hostel facilities. Our Government will assure the students that there will be an increase in hostel facilitities, he said.
Poojary said that the hostels will be developed at every City across the State.
