Mysuru: In a tragic incident, a couple, who were travelling on a bike, met with an accident when an unidentified vehicle rammed into them.
Shivanna and Shanthamma, a couple from the Piriyapattana Town, were on their way to collect milk from their land in Rajapura on Gonikoppa Road when an unidentified vehicle collided head-on at a turning point of Mahadeshwara Temple, seriously injuring them.
The two injured were first admitted to the Town Public Hospital. Shivanna has been taken to Mysuru for further treatment, while Shantamma died on the way.
