Mysuru: The Mysuru Dasara Exhibition to be organised by Karnataka Exhibition Authority (KEA) will be held at Doddakere Ground on Mysuru – Ooty Road here from September 26 to December 24 (about 90 days), said KEA Chairman Mirle Srinivas Gowda.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Wednesday August 24 he said this year, in memory of Sandalwood actor Puneeth Rajkumar, we are planning a ‘sand museum’ and ‘yoga 3D video mapping.’ Various programmes related to Dasara 2022 will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Basavaraj S. Bommai and other concerned ministers.”
Gowda said, “The public can download the digital maps for the blueprint of the exhibition. Forest Department and Agriculture Department’s products will be sold at a subsidised rate. Arrangements have also been made for pure drinking water. The entire zone is plastic-free and we expect the people to cooperate with us.”
The KEA Chief said, “Various departments belonging to State and Central Governments, various boards and Zilla Panchayat stalls will be set up 10 days in advance to throw light on Government schemes. The Chief Secretary of the Karnataka Government has issued a notification in this regard. Tenders have been invited for A, B and C stalls.”
Though the Mysuru Dasara exhibition could not be held in the last two years, this year, according to Gowda, a capacity crowd is expected on all the 90 days. Any suggestions can be sent to exhibitionauthority@gmail.com.
