Mysuru: Drunk man murders wife pushing her into river - 1 min read

Mysuru: A man who took his wife to Nanjangud on the pretext of visiting the temple has allegedly murdered her by pushing into Kapila river.

The family is native of Kasuvinahalli in Nanjanagud Taluk. The accused Rajesh travelled to Nanjanagudu with his wife Devi and two children to pay a visit to the temple. The accused allegedly pushed Devi into deep water while bathing in the Kapila river. He then attempted to drown two children by pressing their heads in water.

The alerted fishermen rescued two children.
