Mysuru: A programme on entrepreneurship awareness was jointly organised by Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Department, Bengaluru and Centre for Entrepreneurship Development of Karnataka and Sree Nataraja Residential First Grade College for Women on Thursday August 11
P. Jagannatha, District Skill Development Officer, Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Department, Mysuru, who inaugurated the event, highlighted the importance of skill development and confidence among the students to become successful entrepreneurs, and he also guided the students about the procurement of funds to start a business.
Dr. S. Shivarajappa, Special Officer, Sree Nataraja Prathisthana, Mysuru, motivated the students to develop courage and work hard to build a strong career.
In her presidential address, Dr. Sharada, Principal of Sree Nataraja First Grade College, called upon the students to avail the schemes offered by the State Government.
Krishnamurthy, Retired Director of RUDSET, Bengaluru, gave an insight into the skills required for a successful entrepreneur and briefed the students on utilising the opportunities by displaying the various motivational videos.
Kishore, trainer, CEDOK, Mysuru and Jyothi H. K., trainer, CEDOK, Mysuru, explained to the students about the legal aspects of starting a business and government schemes.
