Owing to pandemic conditions, the Independence Day on 2020 and 2021 was a low-key affair. But with the condition improving now, the State Government has decided to have a full-fledged I-Day this year.

Independence Day march was also taken out from Bannimantapa Ground to Kote Anajaneyaswamy Temple near the North Gate of Mysuru Palace.
