Mysuru: District In-Charge Minister S. T. Somashekshar inaugurated the Dasara exhibition on Tuesday September 28. Speaking during the occasion, Somashekar urged people to visit the 90-day exhibition. He also promised that this year’s event will have a variety of specialities.
The exhibition’s entrance has been decorated beautifully. However, the situation within the exhibition field was rather dreary and dull. Despite the late launch, it was claimed that 80 per cent of the government and ZP outlet stalls were filled. Visitors were shocked to learn that only half of the stalls were open for business.
Several works appear to be incomplete despite the inauguration. According to sources, the exhibition only had a small number of food stalls and rides, many of which were still being assembled.
