Mysuru: Pancharatna Yatra to conclude on March 26

Mysuru: Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy’s ambitious ‘Pancharatna Rathyatra’ will be held in the City on Sunday March 26.

Preparations for the closing ceremony of the Pancharatna Yatra in City are almost complete and the programme will be held at 4.00 pm at a sprawling ground spread over 100 acres on Uttanahalli Ring Road in the City, said Kumaraswamy.

Before the ceremony, a massive roadshow will be held from Ring Road near Columbia Asia Hospital in Mysuru. Former Prime Minister H. D. Deve Gowda, JD (S) State President C. M. Ibrahim and all party MLAs and all candidates will participate in the roadshow, he added.

More than 10 lakh people are expected to take part in this JD (S) festival, which is a historic gathering in the State politics, said Kumaraswamy and added that arrangements have been made for seating arrangements, food and drinking water for everyone attending the convention to sit on a wide ground.
