Mysuru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a massive election campaign rally in support of BJP candidates here on April 30, said MLA S. A. Ramadas.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday April 28, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will arrive directly from Delhi at Maharaja’s College Grounds in Mysuru, will be welcomed with heritage items like betel leaves, sandalwood sticks, and Mysore silk cloth, etc. Folk troupes, including nadaswaram, and women carrying the purna kumbha will give a grand welcome.
Later, Modi will reach gun house via MUDA, Ramaswamy Circle and Chamaraja 100ft Road. He will begin the roadshow rally at 5.30 pm in a vehicle that arrived.
He will be welcomed along the way by more than 30 art troupes and more than 30,000 people dressed in traditional costumes of Mysuru.
Modi, who will hold a nearly four-kilometre rally, will conclude the rally at Millenium Circle from where he will reach Mandakalli Airport directly and then proceed to Delhi.
