Mysuru: In a tragic incident, a farmer, who was engaged in agricultural activities, died on the way to hospital after being bitten by a snake at Naganahalli in the District.
The deceased has been identified as Cheluvayya (48), a farmer from Naganahalli in Hanagodu Hobli of Hunsur Taluk.
Cheluvayya was engaged in agricultural activity on the farm as usual on Sunday December 4. He was bitten by the snake in the afternoon. He was given first aid at Hunsur Hospital and died on the way to a hospital in Mysuru for further treatment.
A case has been registered at Rural Police Station in this regard.
