Mysuru: An incident where a woman came with a machete to assault an officer took place at Sathgalli Bus Depot in Mysuru.
It is said that Congress Leader Shaffi Ahmed availed Sathgalli Bus Depot land and was running a college there. But since many months he did not pay the rent, and the outstanding amount exceeded Rs 1.8 Crore. The KSRTC Officials served a notice to Shaffi to pay the arrears. Enraged by the notice Shaffi and his wife on Monday December 12 came to the depot office and allegedly threatened officials. Shaffi’s wife brandished a sickle and threatened to kill officials.
Soon officials filed a complaint with Udayagiri Police Station. After registering of FIR, the couple escaped and are hiding. Police registered a case and laid a trap to nab the accused.
