Mysuru: The incident of KSRTC bus the steering was jammed falling into a ditch took place near Navilur Village of Nanjanagudu Taluk.
A KSRTC transport bus traveling from Nanjanagudu to Kasuvinahalli Village collided with a bike parked at the turn of Navilur village on the main road of Muddhalli and Navilur villages and plunged into a ditch.
The bike got stuck under the wheel of the bus and got damaged. The bus driver and passengers escaped unhurt.
The irresponsibility of the transport department officials is evident by not servicing the transport buses properly and allowing only the old buses to ply, the public alleged.
Locals have insisted that transport buses coming to rural areas should be repaired and new buses should be provided.
