Mysuru: Tusker enters village, damages houses

Mysuru: A wild tusker raided a village near HD Kote in the District and damaged houses on Monday September 19.

The tusker which strayed out of the forest, raided Boodanur Village, five kms away from HD Kote town in the morning. The feared villagers raised an alarm and made all the efforts to drive away the pachyderm.

The pachyderm which looked distraught was seen running helter-skelter, with the villagers causing a din, according to the video that has surfaced online.
