Mysuru: Woman allegedly assaulted at hotel owned by Cong’s Nalapad

Mysuru: A woman hotelier alleged that she was assaulted by restaurant In-Charge on the night of Sunday March 27.

According to Kruthika Gowda, who runs Kasturi Restaurant on lease owned by State Youth Congress President Mohammed Nalapad.

Speaking to mediapersons she said that on Sunday night, the hotel In-Charge  Sayyed Riyaz assaulted her and attempted to throw her away from hotel. She said that she had paid Rs. 20 lakh to Nalapad as three-year lease to run the restaurant. But the hotel In-Charge was trying to evict her despite two years is still remaining for the end of lease term, she alleged.

She also showed CC camera footage which showed that she was assaulted by Riyaz. But Riyaz told the mediapersons that she was not running the restaurant as per lease agreement and defaulted payment to hotel management. He alleged that she owes Rs. 35 lakh to the hotel and also did not pay salaries to restaurant workers.

The video clip of assault is viral on social media. Mohammed Nalapad told mediapersons that the issue has come to his notice now, and that he would solve the problem.
