Nanjangud: Devotees flock to Nanjangud Sri Chamundeshwari Temple

Nanjangud: On the occasion of the second Ashadha Friday, hundreds of devotees thronged Sri Chamundeshwari temple in Nanjangud city. A special puja was presented at chamundeshwari Sannadhi, a presiding deity on the banks of Kapila river on Chamarajanagar bypass road in Nanjangud city.

Nagalakshmi decoration on the second Friday of Ashadha. Special pujas are performed to Chamundeshwari by worshipping Goddess Lakshmi and Shakti. Devotees come from different parts of the state on the occasion of Ashadha month. Maha Rudrabhisheka and Panchamrutha Abhishekam were performed to Chamundi. The temple was decorated with Garlands. Devotees were allowed to have darshan of the deity.
