Mysuru: Close on the heels of MBA student gang rape on foothills of Chamundi hills, recently a college girl was molested in broad daylight light on Friday September 1.
The incident took place at R. S. Naidu Nagar under N. R. Police Station limits. It is said that a nursing student was molested by a miscreant while she studying alone in the room.
According to the complaint, the miscreant assaulted and attempted to rape her. Deputy Commissioner of Police Pradeep Gunti visited the spot and formed police team to nab the culprit.
The police are verifying CCTV footages and has pressed dog squad into service. N. R. Police registered a case and investigation is underway.
