Mysuru: Cooperation and District In-Charge Minister S. T. Somashekar has slammed Opposition Leader Siddaramaiah’s remark against RSS.
Speaking to media persons here on Sunday May 29, Somashekar said Siddaramaiah has not studied RSS. “I will take him to the RSS office once so that he can study RSS activities. Or else we will give him a book on RSS as Siddaramaiah lacks even one per cent knowledge on RSS. Siddaramaiah’s words carried weight when he was the Chief Minister. Now, his party workers are not listening to him. He is being sidelined and cornered within the party. Hence Siddaramaiah is trying to gain mileage by speaking against RSS and other issues,” said Somashekar.
Speaking further he said, “I have gained knowledge about RSS for the last two years and am attending the programmes. They think about the development of the country and also chalk out programmes on similar lines. Siddaramaiah is not able to digest it. A book on RSS will be dispatched to him shortly.”
He also said that there is no need to take Siddaramaiah’s words seriously. Instead of just criticising others, Siddaramaiah should tour the districts as Opposition party leader, advised Somashekar.
