Tumkur: A tragic incident unfolded in a Tumkur engineering college owned by Home Minister Parameshwar, where a 19-year-old student named Banasiri (Bhavana) took her own life. The young woman was found hanging in the hostel of Siddhartha Engineering College, where she was pursuing her 3rd semester in the BE IS department.
The motive behind this heartbreaking event remains unclear. Tumkur Deputy Superintendent of Police, P. Chandrasekhar, visited the scene of the incident, which falls under the jurisdiction of Tilak Park Police Station.
