Mysuru: Mysuru Travel Association, Karnataka Tourism Development Department and Mysuru Hotel Owners’ Association organised World Tourism Day here on Monday on September 27.

They accorded a grand welcome to tourists at the Mysuru Palace. Titular King Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wodeyar greeted the tourists with flowers. The tourists flooded Yaduveer Wadiyar with questions, and he advised them to contact the Mysore Palace Board to learn more about the private durbar, golden throne, and Dasara jumbos.

People who depend on tourism for their livelihood are going through a bad phase.
