Mysuru: Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports in association with Zilla Panchayat will be conducting one day free adventure training camp for youth at Kunthibetta in Pandavapura Taluk, Mandya district on February 10. The experts of adventure sports mentioned that apart from making people physically and mentally strong adventure sports also help in improving concentration and self-discipline.
During the one-day camp the participants will be trained in various adventurous events including trekking, rock climbing, rafting, river crossing and jummering. Men and women in the age group of 15 to 35 years can take part in the camp.
