Mysuru: State BJP President B S Yeddyurappa rubbished the findings of forensic lab reports on handwriting of MLC Govindraju’s diary and challenged the state Chief Minister to order CBI probe on the issue.
Talking to reporters in Mysuru on March 21, former CM ridiculed state Congress working President on the issue and went on to say that his allegations over the CM receiving kickbacks on steel flyover project and state congress leaders making payments to party high command contain only truth. He challenged the CM to order a CBI probe on the diary scam.
In the fear of losing the by polls, state Congress is resorting to rowdyism to inject fear in the minds of voters, BSY said and doubted fair polls in the prevailing circumstances owing to misuse of official machinery by the state government. The party already apprised the election commission and has sought deployment of paramilitary forces, he said.
