Mysuru: A pedestrian was seriously injured when a bus took a sharp turn while he was trying to cross over from Church Road to Ashoka Road in the morning hours in the city, in front of Lashkar police station on Friday, July 1.
The incident occurred when two speeding city buses were trying to overtake each other as the pedestrian was trying to cross over when the signal lights were not functioning right in front of Lashkar police station.
The entire incident was captured on the CCTV. There were certain developmental works being carried out near the accident site. The seriously injured pedestrian was rushed to the hospital immediately.
The police have arrested the bus driver involved in the accident. Further investigations are in progress.
