Mysuru: The alert police seized Rs 23.47 lakh at Parvathipura Check post in Hullali police station limit, Nanjangud Taluk here on Sunday.
According to police, the cops working at the check post intercepted the car which was coming from Gundulpet at Parvathipura check post, when they checked it further they found Rs 23.47 lakh inside the car. Though the duo including the driver say that the money belongs to private finance company at HD Kote, they did not have any document to prove the same.
The police have hence seized the money and investigating the duo. This is the biggest seizure during this by-election.
