He is a favourite student for many teachers in the school. Chandrashekar, a studious and disciplined student, managed to keep up his reputation by scoring an aggregate of 615 marks including centum marks in Mathematics. “I didn’t feel the pressure at any point of time. My parents who were very confident about me, didn’t compel me in any way. The encouragement from my teachers and classmates helped me to achieve this feat. Initially, I did not dedicate more time but later when the exams were closing in, I started dedicating more time.”
“I was very much addicted to television. In my free time, I used to watch TV. To concentrate more on studies, four months before to the exams, I decided to have the cable connection removed so that I can devote more time on studies rather than just watching TV. This really helped me to score better marks. I have just decided to take up science stream (PCMB) and later decide what to do further”, added Chandrashekar, son of Mahadeva and Gajalakshmi who resides at Rajiv Gandhi Colony in Ashokapuram. His father works as a pourakarmika in NIE Boys Hostel.
