Prayer service held for Lankan blast victims at Mysuru St. Philomena’s Church

Mysuru: A special prayer service was organized at the St. Philomena’s Church, here on Wednesday, April 24, for the people who had lost their lives in the Colombo serial bomb blast.

The prayer service was led by Bishop Most Rev. Dr. K.A William, Diocese of Mysuru.

After the prayer service he said, “We condemn the heinous act of terrorism in Sri Lanka, which has taken away several innocent lives. I pray to God that let him enlighten the doers and forgive their mistakes and see to that they do not commit such a mistake once again in their lives.”

“In 2013 Easter Sunday, similar incident had happened and it is very sad that on such a holy and auspicious day of Christians that such an incident has occurred, yet again. I pray to God to stand by their families during this time of mourning and give strength to them”, he added.

Parish priests of all the churches had participated in the prayer service.
