Mysuru: A girl studying in a renowned pre university college was finally was trapped by the police on February 4 despite several attempts by her at hoodwinking the cops on traffic violations.
Gayathri, a resident of K R Mohalla in the city, was happily roaming on city roads without wearing helmet and at times by accommodating 2 or more of her friends in her scooter. CCTV footages available with the police indicated 64 traffic violations by the girl. Finally police served a notice to the girl asking her to remit Rs 9500 in fines.
Her parents too had cautioned her and asked her not to commit such mistakes. But, the girl had other ideas in mind! She quietly removed the number plate and hid it inside her vehicle and continued with her jolly rides. But, finally her luck ran out on February 4!
Traffic police stopped her vehicle moving without the number plates, when she was heading towards Dasappa Circle from Metropole junction. When questioned, she countered the policemen, citing her vehicle brand new. When police quizzed her further and noticed the meter reading which showed 7500, she admitted to several traffic violations.
Police have summoned her parents to Devaraja Traffic police station and are investigating the reasons behind her filmy style fearless actions.
