The academic performance of Mysuru district has seen a noticeable rise in the 2025 II PUC results, climbing to the 12th position in Karnataka with a pass percentage of 74.30%. This is a significant improvement from 2024, when it stood 17th with 83.13%, and from 2022, where it was also 17th with 64.45%. In 2023, it held the 13th rank with a pass percentage of 79.89%.

Three students from Mysuru district have made it to the top ranks in the Commerce stream. Tejaswini M A of Bharathmatha PU College, Koppa (Periyapatna taluk), secured second rank in the state with 598 marks. G Dhatri from Sadvidya Semi-Residential PU College, Vijayanagar, and K Harshini of Sri BGS Girls PU College, Kuvempunagar, both secured third ranks with 596 and 594 marks, respectively.

Neighbouring Hassan district has also shown notable progress, moving up to 10th position in the state with a pass percentage of 77.56%. In 2024, Hassan was at 13th with 85.83%, 7th with 83.14% in 2023, and 13th with 67.28% in 2022. Hassan’s N J Pranathi from Masters’ PU College, Hoysalanagar, Beeranahalli, secured third rank in the Science stream with 597 marks.

Chamarajanagar district climbed to 13th place with a pass percentage of 73.97%, while Mandya district reached 14th with 73.27%, marking a steady rise in regional academic outcomes.
