Mysuru: In a bizarre incident, rats ate away fingers of a toddler at T Narasipura, here in Mysuru.
The one and half year old child living in a slum area in T Narasipura, which is the constituency of district in-charge minister Dr H C Mahadevappa has lost its two fingers due to the incident that took place on Thursday night.
The little child was seen screaming out of pain at government hospital, where its parents had got it for treatment. The parents say that though the issue was brought to the notice of the Minister, he has not responded.
It may be noted that as many as 40 families are living in the slum in acute unhygienic and poor living conditions.
