Mysuru: The superhit 93.5 RED FM is not solely involved in entertaining the people. Apart from being known for providing quality entertainment and informative broadcasts, RED FM is also known for conducting many awareness and empowerment programmes for people from all walks of life.
On the occasion of Anti-tobacco day which is scheduled for May 31, RED FM is spearheading yet another programme called RED FM presents “Stop it, it’s time”. The event began on May 25 with an inauguration at the Narayana Multi-specialty Hospital centre at Shivarampet in Mysuru, and will see its conclusion on May 31.
This is the sixth edition of the anti-tobacco day signature campaign during which, a creatively designed canter vehicle will move around the city, specifically in high footfall areas. The canter was flagged off by actor Pratham, hence inaugurating the campaign. RJs will collect signatures from the young and old, promising to abandon the use of tobacco products of all forms. This canter will be found moving in prominent thorough fares of the city. This campaign is amplified on air with a lot of celebrity and doctor interviews, educating people about the hazards of tobacco and how to quit it step by step.
Doctors from the Oncology Department of NH Hospital, the regional manager, area manager and Managing Director of Phoenix Suzuki, RED FM staff and onlookers were present and extended their support to this meaningful campaign.
